Landsailing and Ice Sailing
We do most of our landsailing in Wyoming, on a lake bed we nicknamed "Wahu". It's a dry lake that has "challenges", otherwise known as vegetation, spread around the lake bed. It's not the wide open lakes like you will find in the southwest, but it is a blast to sail!
Ice sailing in Colorado, as well as most other places, can be a challenge. We're looking for clear ice with little to no snow on top. Some seasons are fantastic, lots of clear ice, wind and time off to go sailing. Other seasons the weather does not cooperate, and we do little or no sailing.
